Stretch Marks
Stretch marks are the result of rapid muscle or weight gain. When
the natural collagen and elastin fibers within the body are strained
due to rapid changes in weight and muscle (weight-lifting, pregnancy,
teen-age growth spurts, weight loss programs), the underlying tissue
tears and the body responds by forming unsightly scar tissue. Some
experts argue that as our skin structure is genetically determined,
we are predisposed to developing stretch marks; others disagree,
pointing to the fact that there are ways to help prevent stretch
marks. Stretch marks are similar to that of the effects of a balloon
which has been blown up and then deflated. No matter how much air
is used to blow up the balloon again, it has lost much of its original
elasticity and will never look quite the same. The same applies
with stretch marks, as once they have resulted, they do not go away
entirely. New stretch marks are an angry reddish brown color. Old
stretch marks are white. Both of these stretch marks appear indented
and claw-like in nature. The key is to find ways to reduce the stretch
mark's appearance. StriaeRx stretch mark cream can help!
Can I Get New Stretch Marks? If you overwhelm
your skin's ability to cope with more changes in weight and girth,
your body may encourage new marks to occur. However, daily use of
StraieRx stretch mark cream ion the affected areas will help keep
these new marks from becoming problematic.
