Low Carb Diets
Low Carbohydrate Dieting - One of the most famous
low carb diet books of all time, is the Body Opus diet by Daniel
Duchaine. The infamous Body Opus has helped literally thousands
of bodybuilders prepare for their bodybuilding contests, by shedding
that last bit of stubborn body fat. Many people have successfully
used the Body Opus Diet which indicates a low carb diet. The Atkin's
Diet by Dr. Atkin's is another well know low carb diet which is
also followed by thousands of people. Dr. Atkin's suggests that
a diet which has an intake of less than 11 grams of carbs per day,
will accelerate body fat loss because the body is forced to burn
fat due to the low supply of carbs which it usually uses as fuel.
Other low carb diets such as the Ketogenic Diet by Lyle McDonald
is also another variation of restricting carb intake to manipulate
the body into burning fat calories for weight loss.
