That was the worst news. The good news is that you’re not
crazy.
You and I both know that you’ve been the good diet soldier
– graduated from Weight Watchers, rotated your diet and embraced
fit over fat. Perhaps you’ve even dabbled in Life Extension’s
powders and pills. You doctor, looking over your weight, cholesterol
and various blood tests, proclaims you marvelously healthy. Your
nutritionist is upbeat; you’re on course. All those food labels

Next word: Bodyopus. Flat out, I made this word
up. An “opus” is a numbered musical composition. Changing

lean athletic body if your face looks like death sucking on a cracker?
Your hair, skin, face and even (yes) toenails, are all part of your
